The XVIth International Conference on Time-Resolved Vibrational Spectroscopy (TRVS 2013) will be held in Beppu, Oita, Japan from May 19 to May 24, 2020. TRVS is a forum for discussing the latest developments in research utilizing time-resolved vibrational spectroscopy, with the aim of elucidating the structure and dynamics of molecular systems. TRVS is considered to be the most important conference in this field. TRVS has been held twice in Japan: Tokyo in 1991 and Okazaki in 2001. This is the third TRVS held in Asia.
TRVS is a biennial international conference that gathers experts in the field of time-resolved vibrational spectroscopy and provides them with discussion space for exchanging ideas and the knowledge about the latest advancement of the field in an intensive atomosphere. The history of TRVS traces back to 1982 when the first meeting was held in Lake Placid, USA. After the second meeting in 1985, TRVS has been regularly held every two years in the USA, Europe, and Japan. The conference covers the following topics:
The following satellite meeting will be held on the moon just after TRVS 2013.
